reynoldsluck

hola again.  happy end of august almost september/where the fuck has the time gone.
Been working a lot.  A LOT.
But been also finding time for last minute summer activities before this weather goes away.
Camping, parties, love, fun.  Those last 3 things happen year around.
Oh, and I was introduced to Manwolfs.
And staying busy.  I got to meet Reynolds!

Installation work by me, Blanca Martinez, and Megan Bingham with Madprops.

Emerica was at 35th North Skateshop the other day.  And yes I did go- not get a stupid autograph, but to make photo.  Old Skateboarder crush---Andrew Reynolds is considered a legend to little kids these days.

And got to style an amazing event put on by Slideluck, a non-profit organization that throws these awesome potluck dinner parties/slideshow to show the work of many talented photographers.  Over 250 people showed up!  Held at Voda Studios this year, the event was a complete success.
Lots of great work, people & good vibes.  Thanks, David Wentworth for putting on a great show.
Here are some photos of the decor we did:

Continuing with the last day...

The guys at Pete vs. Toby were sweet & seemed fun, thanks for the tank BRAGHS.
And don't forget to check out their tees, they have some awesome stuff. Like R-A-D.

She's a doll! Miss Nadia, it was a pleasure.

What a stud! Haha. Model for Ginch Gonch & me representin Starbucks Coffee. I got hooked up with some undies.

Last day of the show. Lots of excitement. Lots of fashionistas. Lots of inspiration.

HILARIOUS.

This was last night after Revolution Lounge inside Mirage Hotel & Casino.

Dude was passed out with his car engine running. I woke him up by dancing against the driver's window and taking photos of him. It was fun times.

The Pool Trade Show, August/September 2009 is here!

It has been great so far, my feet are hurting ... but I'll live. Lots and lots and LOTS of neat stuff. My eyes wander from corner to corner just in awe of everything. My job consist of stuffing cute little black totes with goodies and handing them out to people. I know super fun & easy!

I got to see Glass Candy last night for Pool Tradeshow's party ...a lot, a lot of fun. Ida (lead singer) has this thing for dancing aerobics, some people say its "erotic aerobics", I disagree though...she does it pretty well, but not to the extent of calling it erotic. I've seen musicians (women) put on some way more crazy types of dance move shows. Glass Candy's way is a little more, "Cute". Like ballerina, tip toe don't step on any glass Cute. Like she goes out barefoot on stage and wears really tight leggings that shows her hip bones pierce out, don't get me wrong, she is a cute girl, but no its not "erotic".
By the way, she said our city smells bad....
I'm not surprised by any means, but I've smelled worse!

I try not to diss cities, especially my city. I grew up in Las Vegas and I'm proud of it because I met a lot of really good friends here...its my home until I make another place my home.

Tip of the day:
Don't diss your city!!!

Renegade Craft Fair, San Francisco 2009

Thank you Thank you for everyone coming out to Renegade's 2nd Annual Craft Fair in San Francisco. It was truly a blast. Here are most of the pictures from the fair that I took and from the rest of our trip! Have fun looking & leave comments on your experience at the fair!

Driving into foggy city...its a nice feeling

We were lucky to stay at a friend's place in the city near Geary Blvd., which wasn't far from Fort Mason at all! (Thank goodness! Since all the loading & unloading of set up in our car...)

I couldn't stop taking pictures, I had to remind myself of how much I love this city for what it is for...creativity, good food, history, it's people, individuality...ALL of the above!

Got some late night food Friday night & went to bed early cause we had a big day ahead of us!

All did up & ready to get our craft on.

Day #1 at the Renegade Craft Fair:

The face painting begins...
I don't know what it is in the air of San Francisco or what, but the cutest kids are from here!

And so the day was ending at the Renegade Fair.....on to a nice San Francisco night outting...

Oh, the bus rides......

This girl was from Denmark and she was super cool, made the late night bus rides 100 times better.

This little ballet boutique was around the corner where we stayed at. I couldn't resist taking a snap shot of it...its just simply cute.

Day #2 at the Renegade Craft Fair:

This is me saying so long Renegade! It was surely a wonderful time! Can't wait till next time.

The next day we drove to Modesto, California before leaving back home to Las Vegas to meet with our good friends and do some camping by the wine vineyards. It ended the trip perfectly!
