la femme

From the collection Fortnight Lingerie based out of Canada.  Beautiful pieces.

.

I've been into this lingerie, boudoir feel more and more everyday.  Who knows, maybe because I know I'm not getting any younger, so I should show off my curves while I still can, right?  okay, gym tomorrow morning 5am.
Fortnight.  It's so femme, so lady, so elegant and sexy.  girly yet matured.  classic.
Oh, Jolene, keep an eye out for some more of these images here on cp.
.
Also, I've been in the middle of updating/re-doing my portfolio at jplana-anderson.com, so please check back later for more updates.

Styled by:  Gènevieve Eliard

There is this sort of elegancy behind this image that makes me like it so damn much.  A collection called L'Eclipse by Genevieve Eliard-  constructed beautifully.

Sensuality.  Detail.

.

I was reading this photo article the other day from this photographer and remembered this quote, "Details work best when no matter what the subject is, its something you really care about.  If you aren't showing the details, you're really not into it.  The details are in the heart"

So true.

good night.

would like to have industrial shelving like this in my closet.

inside the home of fashion designer, Alex Hercovitch.

I have this exact garden table set.  It was a hand me down from ben's grandmother pappas, still in it's original green color, but I like how Lucy painted her's red.

The handmade glasshouse is wonderful as well.  It seems like she collected miscellaneous reclaimed windows and arranged them into this unique looking backyard hut, I love it.

currently obsessed with pattern on pattern, mismatched, and nineties.  photographer and good friend, will miller and I played in the studio again.  here is the lovely Damaris dressed in floral from head to toe.  pretty and static. subdued, but fun.

RFF

Reykjavík Fashion Festival took place last week and the outcome was a success without a doubt. The creativity that comes out of Iceland impresses me every single time. Notice I say, "impress" instead of "surprise"....we all know that Reykjavík is a bastion of creativity and it should be no surprise. One of the few designers that was showing is Nikita Clothing. Ten years ago I found out about the new brand, Nikita via snowboarding...I fell in love and have since been one of my favorite designers and still is. ...which is rare to find ...think about a brand that you loved when you were just a teen....do you still like them now?
Nikita has such a pleasant design. They're so different and real in the creation of each piece...you can look at a piece of theirs, hold it in front of you and you'll immediately know for sure that you will feel not only comfortable, but relaxed yet way stylish...it'll blow others' minds.
Plus, it helps to know that I've worked with Runar, one of the designers for Nikita and he is such a down to earth guy, it's awesome. Nikita is awesome.

I want to dress up in this. I don't know where I'd go with it on, but I really want to put it on and I'm 99% sure that I'd wear it out somewhere. It's a vintage 70's Gunne Sak Bridesmaid dress. The ruffled lace v-neck is what gets me. I love it.
From the Pearl Poodle at Etsy.

I'm in bride mood since I've been doing some searching on my friend's wedding, any bridesmaid dress ideas anyone?

Boutique: Adrienne's Bridal Salon
Location: NY

One of my mom's dream and fantasy is to own her own bridal boutique. How wonderful would it be if that dream someday will come true?

soft and sweet

This might look familiar as Rik's work have been seen in magazines such as Nylon, Vibe, Vice Australia....his work is delicate and usually shows not all parts of the body, just half. His color palette is my favorite though. It works so naturally along with his fine, wiry lines that he makes with his illustrations.

They sure do. Design by Wayne.

visuals from vegas magazine.

"An award-winning, multilingual, in-demand realtor, Christine Rosa Lefkowitz" In this past issue of Vegas magazine, they give a sneak peak indoors of Lefkowitz' high rise condo in Las Vegas. Her style is fun with bright, popping colors with an obvious liking of feng shui. She also is a huge collector of art work, hanging all around every part in her condo.
