I'm still working on Hella Haus' website.  It's a bit hard- I'm not so very good at these things- I think I rather just have some techy-savy friend set me up with something nice and clean, anyone want to volunteer??

I've been kind of wanting a kitty.  A white kitty.  And if I can teach it how to do this, I think I want one of these little guys even more so!

Had a lazy weekend (see above), but it was plentiful and relaxing.  Now back at the office at full attack.
Next weekend, we might say hi to Portland, will find out later this week...keep your fingers crossed!

Hasta.

smores

The snow is now melting.  Oh, that was fun though.  It is very slushy now and RAINY.  This weekend should be fun though, last minute sledding, the market, some running around the neighborhood, maybe some hot yoga and possibly the hot springs with some friends...I also want to be spending some time in the studio.   I've been looking at Marimekko NONSTOP.  It's fresh.  I'm really needing to get something, that Kuma tunic above is simply lovely.

Nothing better than clean, fresh smelling linen.

love. love. loveeee how this image speaks about the space of this room.  It's pretty rare to find rooms like this, where you step down into your bedroom, the floor feels light and the room feels airy.  Very refreshing.  Breathable.

What do you think about the transparency of this space?  I'd feel a little exposed, yeah?

unquestionably in love with this dark, forest green velvet throw/dress on Siri.

reminds me of the holidays. when I was younger, my mom would always make me a different christmas dress every year to wear. ha. and she once made me something that was so similar to this that i'm thinking maybe Siri found it at a thrift shop and altered her way at it! alright, maybe not. but god, i love that green velvet, I can smell the woods, log cabin, holiday cheer...it takes me to a good place.

slowly, but surely.

our home is becoming more like a home.

the morning sunlight is always a magnificent feeling, i think that's probably the same feeling with the others who live in the northwest.

O.K.REALLY.

How amazing is this hotel?+
"Life in harmony with nature"

Yes. It's a hotel. But not just any hotel...the remarkable Rogner Bad Blumau not only has green roofs, colourful facades, and a dreamy interior. This place is in the middle of the meadows in Austria and really, a work of art. It is definitely getting put on my to-do list.

Lauren Moffatt's Fall 2010 collection is impressive.

Clever. This has to be the most amazing entrance to a patio. Right from the kitchen.

Very welcoming. Just a simple way to bring warmth to your home.

In the heart of Vasastan. It gets even better.

enuff, lets escape.

For those of you who have been keeping up with my blog, you can probably by now be well assured that I am in love with anything that is of Scandinavian style (both classic & modern). The way the interior plays with natural light, I'm obsessed with. For this home in particular (featured on skonahem), I like how they've brought in the same teal color paint on the wooden flooring from another room's wall paint color. The way they have connected each part of the home all together is just really intriguing. In another room, they have black and white striped wall paper and in the living room they bring in the pattern again by having black and white striped pillows on the sofa, it's really inviting when you see hints of familiarity around a person's house. Have you ever been to a friend's house where each room were distinctively different? Like completely. Well, it's that type of feeling where you don't feel as if everything is that much more relaxed. But more so, just, "please don't go in that room, it's a bit of a mess." This might not be such a great example for the average person's home *ppkmm*, but even if it's just a little niche you see that is somehow connected to somewhere else inside, that's what makes a home unique and comfortable.

i cannot stand when bloggers write their post title on any particular Friday, "Oh, happy, happy Friday" It drives me insane.

Another amazing prop stylist, Sweet Paul.

A child's imagination is my inspiration for sure...but how will you ever figure what he/she is really thinking? It holds us responsible to think as we were young once.

Did you know that Sweden has their own term for "taking a break to drink coffee" ? Well, they do. Literally translated to "fika".

Wouldn't that be nice.

Imagine living underground...

Literally.

I think I'd be a little claustrophobic, I need more windows to breathe the air (the majority of them are in the front)...I'd feel as if the earth is on top of me, and I'm drilled into the dirt ground, seriously. I would love to visit though, even if it was open as a hotel space, I'd go in a jump just to have the experience.

I love these bunks though.

Take a look at some more pictures, here.

Enter Kelly & Jonathan's home in San Francisco in the Mission District. A well decorated 850 sq.ft. one bedroom apartment. See how Kelly, an art director and Jonathan, a geologist come together and delicately decorate their home with the latest Apartment Therapy house tour.

These little dudes are chillin looking fresh.

You know how hotel rooms always have tissue boxes on their walls above the toilet seat, this is ideal...why not have this in our own bathrooms instead of wasting toilet paper!

This vanity is a dream vanity! I love that wood and that pattern plus the round shape of the mirror leaves the overall vanity design looking immaculate.

Oh, yeah and if you haven't guessed, this little guy is sitting on top of the vanity.

I really like this doorway. I know its a bit narrow, may be a little too narrow, but I think its because my taste of wooden floors and white walls together. And the vaulted ceiling also makes the entry way much more likable.
