One of my faves is the one above named "Barranquilla", a popular city located near the Caribbean sea in the northern part of Colombia. Baranquilla has always been a familar city to me because my mom is Colombian, and a lot of the songs she used to play when I was little would sing about "Barranquilla this Barranquilla that....", until finally one day, I was like, "mom, what is Barranquilla!!" Its the name of the city!
....second to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil's world-famous carnival, Barranquilla has one of the biggest carnivals as well and celebrated four days before Ash Wednesday.
...in the mean time, i've been dreaming...

of vegetable & herb gardens...
i'm dreamin' of green!

Victoria over at sfgirlbybay did a Q&A with Charlotte Franklin who runs the blog Anknle and Burblets
Charlotte who lives in London has got me dreamin' about going to markets, boutiques, art galleries, and more. One thing she said about London what I love is that 1.) there is so much to do & see in London- "all ran by the most incredible, interesting, amazing and talented people ever..." and another thing was that 2.) "It is very unpretentious here." She said she learned how to dress down because people there actually like you for who you are! IMAGINE that. The place sounds fascinating.
For the past 14 years I've been living in Las Vegas, the most pretentious city on globe! Sorry to diss you little sin city....but thats why we call you sin city, right?
After hard schooling, saving money & stepping up the game with this tuff economy, a new place will soon be called home.
Talking about homes, Charlotte also has a gorgeous home, please go see Charlotte's blog, its amazing!
xoxox.
